Welcome to the Meller Merceux Gallery Blog. My name is Aidan Meller, and I am the main Art Dealer here at the Gallery. I hope you enjoy your time with us.
By being part of our Gallery, we endeavour to bring you insight from the Art world, as your primary source for all artwork modern and contemporary. As your Art World insider, we strive to keep you involved with cutting edge artists and developments from the Art World. We will be interviewing artists, reviewing books, magazines and documentaries, and giving analysis of current trends. This will grow your knowledge in Art so that you can engage confidently and have further enjoyment of this world. We will also look back at work from throughout the 20th Century to understand the influences of work being created today. We will look at Investments in Art – can we do anything to help raise the value of a piece? – and assist you in building an intimate collection of artwork for yourself. We will, of course, aim to show the best in modern and contemporary art; we have an ongoing drive to work with the best artists and artwork existing today.
What will happen next?
Over the next weeks and months, we will blog updates containing the information newly added to our website, which means that you will be constantly in the inner circle of the Art World.
The first blog will involve Art World News. This will give you true insight into the changing perspective of the Art World and the artists emerging at the forefront of our culture.
The next blog will particularly concern Gallery News, enabling you to keep in touch with us here, and keeping you informed of the developments that we are undergoing.
The third blog, Artist News, aims to give you an introduction to forthcoming talent, and also give you an astute profile of some of our favourite artists.
Investment News, the final blog, will provide you with vital intelligence in relation to your investments as a collector.
